Most of my volunteer work is on my resume, but I thought I would share some of my experiences with volunteering.
I am involved with a national community service fraternity called Alpha Phi Omega. Throughout the school year, we do 60 hours of community service. Most of the community service we do is around where we go to school at local nursing homes, hospitals, walks to raise money and anything else that comes up.
This is an image of some of us volunteering at our local campus ministry. They have this event every Wednesday called, Dollar Dinner, where the community volunteers to cook dinner and serve it for the price of dollar.
Every spring semester, Bloomsburg University holds a Relay for Life to raise and awareness money for cancer research. We attend this event every year, last spring we raised between $8,000-10,000. This is an image of all of us last spring participating in Relay for Life.
